I’m originally from Ireland, but now am married to a Korean and live in South Korea. Since getting into digital photography at age 60 (2007) I’ve become hooked on Macro Photography, especially of butterflies. I use the Nikon 105mm f2.8 Macro lens most of the time. In the winter, I switch to birds with my Tamron 150-600mm telephoto. After using the Nikon 7100 for many years, in 2021 I bought a D500. I don’t use a tripod much, and also probably don’t use flash enough. Update: I am now also using an OM1 camera with the OM 60mm macro lens, enjoying its light weight and focus bracketing.
