Hi, my name is Phil (usually called Phil G) and I live in the South Island of New Zealand. I am an enthusiastic nature photographer from way back, and now being semi-retired I hope to turn this wonderful pastime into more of a way of life. My interests are mostly in macro, flora, and intimate landscape. Looking through various parts of the NPN website I find the images very inspiring, and the friendliness and willingness of members to help each other is like a breath of fresh air. I have much to learn and am very happy to join and contribute where I can.
