Spent years champing at the bit (actually, working more than full time) eager to get outside, explore and take pictures of the natural world, but not being able to. Now that I’m able to, I’m loving having the privilege of doing just that. My avatar image is a closeup of a roadside weed at sunrise, an example of how pictures are there waiting to be captured everywhere. The challenge is opening the mind’s eye to see them and the vision to create compelling compositions, all of which I’m constantly working on.
