I’m a retired aquatic entomologist and writer. I’ve been an avid photographer for many years and have used my photos to help illustrate several books and many magazine articles related to fly fishing. My photography interests are widespread, probably too wide, but if I had an overall theme or goal it would be to take photos that help people relate to and appreciate nature and see the amazing diversity of life in the world. As an entomologist I love macro photography, but I’m equally drawn to landscape, wildlife, bird, and flower photography. An interest in many, but master of none!
