Hi Peter, this juvenile seems to be pretty wobbly on this scraggly perch which I guess fits the young of the year motif. Really like the great look of the eye especially in the first image. Nice sharpness on the bird in general. I think the last image is my favorite with a good look at the bird overall.
I like the third one the best because the curved beak is free from the concealing branches. The eye is nice and sharp and the busy BG is soft enough to not be a distraction. Well done…Jim

Nice job on these, Peter. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an image of the white ibis in this plumage. I particularly like the first and third images. The center image is a bit of a transitional pose and doesn’t hold quite the interest for me that the others do.
Great look at the juvie, Peter. I like the first one for how the eye seems to be engaging the viewer and the overall pose seems to suggest a youngster just getting its legs.
