I finally was able to find, and photograph one of the few black squirrels in our area (I’ve gotten gray, and white ones before but never a black one)

Hi Dave, congrats on this unique catch. Love the pose with the raised body and tail. Cropping looks okay to me. Good job on the exposure. I think I can just barely tell the affect of the crop in this image in terms of sharpness of the squirrel but I think it is still plenty sharp enough to create a pleasing image.
