Upon opening the USPS Priority Mail box and getting past the abundance of bubble wrap, I was immediately struck by two details when I first saw Andrew Baruffi’s Heal.: the overall size of the monograph, and the beauty of the cover design.
At 10 inches by 13 inches, Heal. is among the largest monographs I maintain in my personal collection. While this comes with its own issues — finding the space in my bookshelf where it will fit is Numero Uno — it also has its advantages. For one, it forces me to designate time to spend with the book, rather than picking it up throughout the day at whim.
