To me, this is the real value of NPN. Yes, it’s nice to be able to post photos and have people critique and comment on them, particularly when they’re good! 
But just as valuable is to view other’s photos and read the critiques and comments, and participate where you can. So much can be learned.

@Shirley_Freeman @terryb @Allen_Sparks @Diane_Miller Excellent discussion on this post, folks. Coming in late, I don’t have much to add. I have found the masking tools in LR much improved of late (particularly the little +/- when in the mask menu that lets you clean things up. Like Diane, I usually do this stuff in PS, but that’s mostly habit. I have processed a few images in just LR that didn’t need much done to them.
