Cave Bear

Probably my favorite photo of 2020 so far. This is a re-post from the Wildlife Critiques Gallery.

A young (probably 3 yrs old) sow Brown Bear, feeding on salmon, almost under the water fall at low tide. It looked like she was coming out of a cave.

Easy to see why this is a favorite, Gary. The bear’s pose, the kiss of spot lighting and the falling water are beautifully balanced and attractive. The details in the bear’s face really show well in the large view.

The light was right on it’s head. That’s perfect timing.

Excellent image of this bear, Gary. My only suggestion would be to crop a bit from the bottom as that light colored stone in the middle really draws my eye. Other than that, I love the whole frame.
