Falcated Duck

Happened to photograph this rare duck for the first time, which was spotted after more than 30 years in Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur.

Nice to catch a rarity like this, Jagdeep. You certainly caught the iridescence on the head. I do think the entire duck could stand to be brightened a bit.

We are lucky to get many of these in Korea in the winter - it’s my favourite duck. I agree with Dennis about brightening the bird a bit, just to make it stand out more against the attractive foreground and background. Well spotted!
