Fall Morning on Vail's Gore Valley Trail

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Last fall I traveled to Vail to attend my brother-in-law’s wedding which gave me an excuse to spend some extra time there photographing fall colors. I walked the Gore Valley Trail several days as there were lots of aspens along the trail. Early one morning I came across this scene.

Hi Alexander. Very nice fall image. Seems to be lots of autumn shots with fog, they could combine the most recent weekly challenges. I like the leading line of the path and i like the flow of the fog and how it mirrors the shape of the hill. I think the dark shape of the tree overwhelms the left side of the photo and doesnt have much to balance it out on the right. The darker portion of the mountain does it somewhat but not enough. Very nice and thanks for sharing.

Thank you @Cameron_Wilcox for that feedback!
