I have a lot of fishing boat photos that I really like but have never thought of posting them on this site. Guess I’ll have to give it a shot 
This is a salmon seiner setting for Pink Salmon at Valdez, Alaska. I was on shore and they were very close to the shore. Two members of the crew were plunging to scare the salmon and keep them from coming around the end of the seine. The plungers are just what they sound like (Big cups on a pole that make a loud pop when you slam them into the water.)
