The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This small group of elephants arrived very quietly and quickly as they usually do. I liked the raised dust and the animation of the younger elephant in the middle. I cropped a bit from the bottom as there were raised areas of mud in the water.

Richard, this is another excellent Africa image. The group is perfectly-placed in the frame, the action is excellent - and that animated youngster is the star! A good look at all the eyes, and trunks, and a great sky, too. I like the bit of reflection, and would like more - but I’m sure you had a good reason for not including more .
Just beautiful -
Sandy: thanks for your comment. The reason for the lack of a complete reflection is as follows: water for this man made water hole is pumped from quite a distance. The elephants being the lovers of fresh water that they are had dug up and ruptured the water line. With no replenishment for a few days, the water level dropped exposing many patches of mud. These patches of mud besides being unsightly, eliminated the possibility of reflections.
In some ways it’s a bummer that a full clean reflection wasn’t possible. On the other hand, the balance here with that brilliantly textured and colored sky works quite well. Love the cheeky one in the middle too.
The image has a truly dynamic feel to it Richard. We can clearly see the movement of the elephants towards the water. The youngster in the middle really makes the shot and tells the story. Shame about the reflection but you have to work with what you have.
Were you in some sort of a sunken hide? because you seem to be close and low.
It’s a stunner with so many things going with the frame, I really like the cloudy sky, rising dust, the momentum of herd and of course the active calf in the middle. I may slightly crop off the reflection, so that front elephants are not cut in the middle.
