I love the action and the flight pose, Peter. On my screen the egret looks rather grayish-you might play with bringing it up a bit , though you’ll probably have to hold down the brightest areas.

I like this a lot, Peter. The Egret really pops against the grass. But it is also nice to see a bird in flight with all that environment .

A great composition here, Peter, with legs, feet, wings and everything else neatly placed over the water between the two banks of reeds. You also did really well not to have any of the whites blown out, which happens often with my egret attempts. Well taken.

HI Dennis, Allen & Mike

Thank you for the comments. Dennis, I played again with the whites (the histogram had them at 217), and changed the color balance on the Egret.

Peter

The adjustment for the WB worked well and made the white’s a tad brighter. The comp and pose are nice and I like the raised feathers and yellow areas on the head. Well done…Jim

The repost lost that gray look, Peter. Nice job. And I like the shadow of the head on the far wing.
