Jagdeep, I’d say that is more like a regular Cormorant catching a VERY large fish! Birds often amaze me by their ability to swallow such large prey. Which begs the obvious question - was this guy successful?

I like the action in this and the nearly monochromatic environment makes the bird pop. Superb job on the detail.

Hi Japgdeep,
Love this action shot and the behavior captured. Having the scene amongst all the duckweed takes the image up a notch for me. Terrific frame.
