You seem to be really getting the hang of this ICM thing.

I love the curtain feel evoked by this image, Don and the hints of something in the background in the dark pleats. I might bring the darkest of those up just enough to give a faint hint that something might be back there, but that’s just my interpretation.

Michael, Dennis, thanks.

Hi Don,

I am really enjoying the implied motion you captured with the ICM; almost as though I am looking through some kind of veil. I also like the slightly overall darkness in the image as It has an air of mystery to it with the lighter areas in the BG drawing the eye through the scene. Very nicely done.

Thanks, Ed.

I think your choice of ICM was inspired, as we don’t want to see the prickly details of the pines, just enjoy that evening light, and escape towards it from that looming gloom. Very symbolic - or could be the front cover for a book of Grimm’s Fairy Tales.

Hi
The very painterly approach is gorgeous and very effective. The crop/composition is also very well done with the brighter areas over to the R side and a relatively less bright left.

Very accomplished image and very atmospheric - more so than a non ICM sharper shot.

Very nice indeed
