About This Image

This is a close view of a huge old chain that is only exposed at low tide. Today, that was at sunset so the light was beautiful. Snails, barnacles, and mussels attach to anything hard, natural or human made, and they seem to be loving this iron object.

Elizabeth, the sunlit side looks very good. If your goal is to show the contrast between the shade and the light then this full view is good. If you want to show off the rusy links and their denizens, then the right half is the way to go. What’s included or excluded in a photo depends on the story you’re trying to tell.
