About This Image
This is the first image from my new series “Mountains - A Closer Look”.
It shows a scenery in High Tauern NP in the Austrian state of Salzburg. Way back from a tour to Ammererhof, a mountain hut in Rauris Valley, we experienced this interplay of warming light on the larches in the foreground and the cooler shades on the snow covered rock face in the background.
