This is one of a pair of twin fawns that came thru out back yesterday. They are so photogenic.

This is fairly tightly cropped as he was pretty close. Does the cropping still work without much for him to walk into? Exposure?

Z9, 180-600 lens, Nikon 1.4 TC, monopod, 1/3200th, f 9, 495mm, ISO 25600, cropped to 5063 x 3414.

The pose is wonderful with the slight head turn. My only suggestion would be to reduce the cyans or blues in the shaded portions of the image and to reduce the strong overly bright sunlit patches in the BG. Overall, a nice image of this fawn…Jim

Great photo Dave! I agree that a little more room would be nice but I think that for me the photo still works. So much fun to be so close but it does create some potential framing issues :grinning_face:
