I was walking through ponderosa pines in the Coconino National Forest when I spotted these. It had rained overnight.

This is really nice – I love the cool colours and the rain drops make the image. There are a few spots on the left edge that I find a bit distracting and that if this was my image I would clone out.

Fantastic look at a scene we often don’t even notice. Tom’s suggestion improved things and even though you weren’t really looking for anything specific, it’s nice to have another pair of eyes. The light is quite subdued and cool, pushing that green to a near blue. Feels like a relief in a way, that things have been quenched and thirst ended.
