Different crop

Driving back from work late afternoon incoming storm. Very strange light first hill in shadow, spotlight thru clouds on trees. The sky was very turquoise locals tell me it’s the high altitude.
Any and All Which crop?

Wonderful light. I prefer the crop but perhaps a little more off top to remove dark clouds (or their removal).

This image was taken from close to a mile away with an 800mm lens. So the tightest image is a very small part of the file.
A very attractive scene. Althought the sky is interesting, I prefer your last image, cropped below the clouds. The trees deserve it to be the star of the show. It would be painful for me to remove the sky, just because it is beautiful as well. But it feels as competing with the spot lit trees.
I agree with @Han_Schutten. The trees are the star of the image. Nicely done.
I also agree with no clouds now that I have seen it.
I like the composition and the spotlight effect on the trees. The blue in the sky seems oversaturated and perhaps even too dark.
