What changed: Here is a revision with a little vignetting, decreasing the blues and yellows and also removing the errant tail. Thoughts? Tail, no tail?

We were in Botswana when we happened upon these two subadult cheetahs stalking and play fighting. It was great fun to watch as they carried on for a good bit.

What a great action shot of these two cheetahs Timothy. Not much more you could do to this image to make it any better than it already is. My only suggestion would be to apply a slight vignette to darken the outer edges of the frame to place more emphasis on the subject, but that’s it.
Wow! Plenty of action here. It took me a second or two to work out what was happening. Initially I thought the sand was water. Time to have my eyes checked.
I like the idea of a very slight vignette or maybe a diagonal Linear Gradient from the bottom right to the tyre track with the subject masked? Would you consider reducing the blues in the sand and the yellow in the grasses? I would be very tempted to lose the tail on the back of the cat.
The face of the lower cheetah is great - eyes closed maybe to keep out sand? I don’t know if they can retract the claws in the hind feet; as this is playful, I’m guessing they can’t! I’m a no-tailer on this one, as it’s in a very unusual place, looking almost like an extension of the lower cheetah’s leg!. I love that the upper kit is in mid-air - an excellent image.
