About This Image
I’m not sure this really fits the challenge, but the earth doesn’t make a whole lot of noise while it’s rotating and this image gives me a feeling of a very quiet morning with the light just getting brighter.

A very slight negative exposure gradient from the bottom applied to the background (-9 on the LR exposure slider).
Dennis, my initial reaction was “white bird during a whiteout”… It’s definitely subtle with fine hints of color both around and in the sun. The hint of ground at the bottom of the sun is a nice touch.
Making me smile Dennis. I like when a photographer takes an extremely subtle composition and puts it out there. Challenges us to see it. Makes me think about shots that have a single tiny subject in negative space, but in this case, the very slight contrast between a large subject and the fog present a whole negative space that compels me want to see the subject. Very cool. Maybe suggest a weekly challenge of fog shots to see what other subtle treatments others have captured.
