I wonder if a bit more vignette with the goal of decreasing the contrast around the edges would create an advantageous highlighting of the central portion of the image without having to increase the saturation

I have to play with this a little bit, this sounds like a wonderful idea!

A very artistic interpretation of DV and in keeping with your preference for high tone values. It’s almost Tony Kuyperish in a way, except that he prefers far more saturation. Congrats on the weekly pick.
