I had hiked early on morning to a well known overlook for some fall photos in Algonquin provincial park. However the fog was extremely thick. Rather than just wait for the fog to clear I started to explore what I could see and found this image. I have some great fall photos from that trip but this is probably one of my favorites as it was not expected.
