About the Presenter

Sebastien is a 43-year-old amateur photographer, proud dad of two kids, and a passionate explorer of the beauty hiding in plain sight. Through his photos, he aims to reveal the magic of everyday life, inviting others to see the world with fresh eyes. His mission is to uncover the hidden treasures around us and prove that one doesn’t need to travel far to find something extraordinary.

His approach to photography is all about playing with light and depth of field. He loves shooting with a wide aperture and backlighting, using layers of foreground and background to create dreamlike images. Every shot is taken in natural settings close to home, where he spends hours scouting for new locations. This not only keeps his carbon footprint low but also demonstrates that incredible wildlife and flora can be found just steps away from one’s door.

Since 2022, he has exhibited his work at festivals, been published in magazines, and received recognition in international photography competitions.
