John, your original b&w version works best for me, the cooler shades fit in well with the atmosphere to my eye. I especially appreciate the stunning dynamics in your composition.
My only suggestion would be to remove the tiny spots in the reflection, but this is only a minor matter for me. An impressive image for me as presented.

Sorry for the delay, John, but yes the shadowy reflection of the stack, try for inky, and if looks good some more light highlights on the thin white water. That is my take on the b&w format. Might make the stack, good and imposing as it is, more commanding in its natural place with sky and water. But maybe its not your image. Hey I liked it..
