A fall morning

Many people equate Vermont with Fall colors, rightfully so. While I love living here and photographing all year long, fall is special when you can find whole mountainsides blanketed in color. This provides a lovely backdrop for Camel’s Hump with the morning mist just beginning to burn off in the foreground.

Amazing colours John. The right side of the image has the greater interest for me.

The clouds are mirroring the mountains, and of course there’s that beautiful swath of colour running through the middle. I wish there was a bit more detail but it has lots of mood. I would try a square crop keeping the right side or a panorama, cropping out about 2/3 of the sky and some of the clouds.

Good thoughts Andre.
