Posting Guidelines
When Submitting Your Challenge Entry
- Clearly indicate which challenge you’re participating in
- Be prepared to accept all comments - both positive and negative - objectively. Remember, it’s the photo being critiqued, not the photographer
- If there’s specific feedback you’re seeking (e.g., composition, lighting, theme interpretation), mention it in your post
- Briefly explain how your image relates to the challenge theme
- Include relevant technical information (camera, lens, settings) if applicable
When Commenting on Other Entries
- Discuss how well the image interprets the challenge theme
- State what you appreciate about the photo and why
- Provide constructive feedback on potential improvements
- Offer suggestions for technique or composition when possible
- Keep all comments friendly and respectful, focusing entirely on the photo
Critique Focus Areas
- Theme interpretation and creativity
- Technical execution
- Composition and visual impact
- Originality within the theme constraints
- Emotional resonance or storytelling aspects
