After the Storm

This is a bit of an old one, but we had some nice light pop out after a storm (between, if I remember right), and I got out to take advantage of a macro lens and water drops on my irises.

Is this a composite: No
Tamron 90mm macro lens on a Sony a7. ISO 100, f3.5, 1640/s. I processed this from raw, but I don’t really remember what I did to it. I am not very adventurous, so most likely just a levels adjustment and some minor tweaks to dynamic range or exposure tools.

Karla, this is a lovely look at this wet iris. You set up the shot well, with the oof flower behind highlighting the colors in the subject. BTW, the lighting is what David Muensch looked for and called “storm light”. Such lighting usually has a fine warmth and softness.

@Mark_Seaver Thanks for your comments. I think part of my composition was to get the torn petal out of the left corner (confession). :slightly_smiling_face:
