Peter, an excellent image of this gorgeous bird! Really fine feather detail, eye, and colours. I love the “demure” look. The rain drops add a lot.
Really great shot!

Very nice, Peter. The overcast weather really brought out the color well. The whites look good and I really like the pose. Well done.

Great pose Peter - love how that red eye really stands out. The other pinkish plumage is well handled also. Nicely composes and the rain adds another element of interest.

Hi Sandy ,Dennis & Allen
Thank you for your comments, it was nice of the Spoonbill to keep it’s eyes open for that photograph.

Ooooh, I like the pink and red colors here Peter. The cloudy, rainy conditions really allow for some nice light. Great feather details too and nice BG.

Excellent capture!! There is a little more color in the bill in the second one – I wonder if it can be found in the first one, which is a very nice pose. Looks like yellows have been desaturated a little. It feels like both need a little CCW rotation to level up the ripples.

Hi Ed & Diane
Thank you for the comments. Diane your were correct, the yellow HSL hue picker was turn way down. The only think I can think of, it was left over from copy and past, that wasn’t cleared. I rotated the photographs CCW. (I was running out of head room)
