Description

Lone elephant wandering in Himalayan foothills.

Specific Feedback

My desktop monitor brokedown couple of days back, I happened to process the first image in B&W on my new monitor today. I really wonder, how new technology makes things better.
An image from the year 2009.

J Rajput: very well seen and composed. The layered background of hills and mountains is a great backdrop for the lone elephant in the grasses. My only suggestion would be to dodge the elephant a bit as it too close in tone to the grasses.

Jagdeep, the layers of mountain and mist are wonderful in this. Nice composition of the elephant in a wonderful BG. I don’t care much for B&W, but the layers really make this one.

Marvelous, magical mist in the layers of foothills ! The B&W treatment makes for a stunning image.
Placement of the elephant in the frame is ideal. I’d also suggest dodging him/her a bit to contrast more with the dark grasses.
Just excellent!
