Specific Feedback and Self-Critique
I like the pose, and environment. I also like that she was looking at me. I hope the cropping is not too tight. She was pretty close so I didn’t have much real estate to work with.

She looks quite comfortable, Dave. The soft light snow makes for a wonderful backdrop.
Dave, super relaxed pose. So often deer seem, unsurprisingly, really tense in photos, so you approached this one very well, or she knows and trusts you. All that snow shows she hasn’t moved much and her stare is beautiful. If you’d zoomed out a bit, you might have given her more room (especially to the left) - but maybe you had to crop out stuff there. Well taken.
