I posted two possible crops to get feedback on the most desirable. The second one is square.
Eagle seen at Reelfoot Lake yesterday.

Any comments appreciated.

Either one works for me, Allen. There’s enough room in front of the Eagle in the square crop for it to work, though there does seem to be a bit more room than needed on the top in that composition. Have you looked at trimming that one to something like a 6x7 horizontal?
Either version looks good, but I would try Dennis’s suggestion for a 6x7 crop for the top version. Well done…Jim
I’d go with the first version. I like having a bit more room for the eagle to fly into. I’d probably crop some off the top of this version as well. Nice capture.
A beautiful image, Allen. I like the first version, and maybe just a bit cropped from the top. I am going out to shoot with a friend in the morning, and I hope to see an eagle. Maybe I can get a shot like this.
