Saw these bald eagles in the Fall colors at Reelfoot Lake this past weekend.

Specific Feedback

I took out a large branch between the two eagles in the first image. How does it look to you?

Another couple of fine eagle images, Allen. I particularly like the first, mainly because I love the background. You might want to give the eagles in that one just a bit more pop using whatever technique you prefer to make them stand out from the background just a bit more.

The eagles in both images show excellent detail. I would agree with Dennis about the first image. The light and colors draw me into the image.

Great to get two in the same frame! Both of these are really nice catches, good poses, sharp, very complimentary BG.
I agree about trying to “pop” the eagles a bit more. My simple technique for well-defined subjects is to lasso the subject and then inverse, then reduce the brightness. Sometimes I’ll invert back to the subject and brighten it a bit.
Occasionally, a bit of fine-tuning is needed.

I sure am enjoying your eagle pictures, Allen. That must have been an enjoyable outing. I can’t think of anything to add to improve the shots.

These are excellent Allen. I love the two in the first image with the great BG and environs.
