Taken a month ago at the Sacramento NWR, where the raptors seemed particularly cooperative.

Allen, this is a fine look at a Bald Eagle. They are just so majestic looking. I like his perch, and how the two limbs lead out of the frame, but frames him nicely. Nice head turn that he gave you.

Hi Allen, very nice pose and the composition is well done here with the offset bird and perch coming from the main branch. I like the natural look of the sky. Nice frame.

Very good framing, Allen, it minimizes what I suspect was a fairly steep angle very well. I love the exposure on the Eagle and the head turn. Iām afraid they had started to leave by the time I got there a week or two after you, but there were still a few and plenty of other raptors.
