Is this a composite: No
Canon 7Dll, Sigma 150-600mm, F9, 600mm, -1.3EV, 1/2000, ISO 400 The shot was cropped by 50% and the exposure was adjusted in DXO Photo Lab 4. I did remove a small patch of green weeds.

Very nice, Peter. You might want to remove some of the brighter highlights in the foreground, but a very pleasing image.
