Description

Ive returned for a shoot after long at at Back Buck reserve. Using a 500 and 1.4 was able to get something. Was working mostly on backlight

I like the image and the effect it has received due to heat waves, especially the tree, which looks like water colour effect, but image is heavier on the left side, as there is emptiness on the RHS.

I like the composition, it gives a sense of emptiness, although animals walking away doesn’t usually work for me, at least the tree gives it something to be walking towards.
The heat haze seems to have significantly impacted this image Balan and I’m not sure how much more you could do with it.
