I have trouble getting images of geese I like, but this one was okay for the poses and the log they’re standing on.

They’re not the most photogenic of species, but I do like this one, Allen. If you have the room in the original, You might shift the subject a bot to the right in the frame. Other than that I really like this one as presented.

I think this is very nice! Canada Geese are like invasive weeds around here but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Cackling Goose, at least not close enough to tell what it is. Poses like this offer them some redemption, for either variety.

Allen, I like the image a lot. I see Canada Geese all the time and ignore them. I wonder now, have I missed the Cackling Goose because I thought it was just a smaller Canada Goose. I will be much more observant in the future when I see a smaller goose. Great learning image for me.
