My first thought was that this was an image composed in PS. But no!
It was a fortunate overlap, for sure. Here’s a shot taken earlier in the sequence (also gives you a sense of their color). As mentioned, we were quite fortunate to have them chase the Crested Caracara a second time. I was only able to grab my 600 for the first pass, and ended up with too much lens. I was ready with the zoom the second time around.
