The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
We were in the Mara North Conservancy when we saw a leopard and her cub playing deep in the trees. After a bit of waiting and watching they came out into the open and proceeded to play a bit more and then proceed to a little grooming. We were told that the other cub had been killed a couple weeks previously and the mother had been even more attentive then usual.
Specific Feedback
Looking for advice on the framing and overall composition. I would greatly appreciate any other thoughts and suggestions. Thanks.
Hi Timothy
Congratulations on the editors-pick. I have picked out three photographs to critique and they all came up with your photographs.Nice work.

Oh my! You are posting some wonderful images. This one is no exception.
I love how the mum is carressing the cub…in a very guarded way. Life can be tough. The twitching tail gives that impression of playfulness with the cub.
The framing is very nice. It’s all eyes on the cub.
I’m not sure how you are processing your images. A couple of things come to mind for your consideration; Maybe check your white balance? A bit of magenta showing throught the whites, particularly in the cub? Maybe desaturate the greens?
Glenys, thanks so much for your thoughts. I’ll definitely check the white balance and desaturating the greens. I’ve never done much processing so I’m in the process of learning m. I have really appreciated your comments, they have been very helpful.
