Chris, ultimately it’s your work because the next time you present this image somewhere, only you will decide how many or how few of the suggested changes will actually be used.
But hopefully this back and forth has helped you (and other folks too) to consider some new concepts, and to look at this image from different angles. As @Lon_Overacker said, sometimes I too struggle with the concept of re-working other peoples images, whether that be via making very specific comments or actually re-processing another’s image. But the power of the collective knowledge of others often leads to an accelerated learning process, and it forces you to ask questions about your own images that you might never have considered in a vacuum.
NPN is not reworking your images, it is helping you to add more processing tools to your toolbox. But again, ultimately only you decide which tools to employ.
