Your critiques are always thoughtful and lengthy. They are much valued. It’s interesting that the art world ( museums, etc) and the public taste are mostly at odds with one another. For example Andrew Wyeth is greatly loved by the public but the art world looked down at him for his realism when realism was no longer the frontier. Pollock is widely considered the best American painter of the 20th century (for his innovation) and is shunned by the public. They would say that his paint floor (spilled paint) was indistinguishable from his paintings.
