The contrast between the dark and light, linked by blue skies, and the hardness of the bare trees with the softness of the late afternoon clouds. It all just made sense to me, like all was momentarily right with the world.

The pano format looks good here John. The mix of late light, the shape of the cloud and the silhouetted trees are striking. There’s a lot of color noise and pixelation along the bottom.

I looked again and it turns out it was not noise but simply an area that was not as dark as it maybe should be to avoid looking like noise. I darkened it slightly and tried to keep the tree branches about the same as they were. I think it is a much better image as a result. Thanks.
