I like this image fairly much. It’s pretty dark but purposefully so. I expect you’ll get comments on the brown object near the bottom. Is that hair?

Ola, you have found yourself a very interesting subject here with crack. The graphic shapes in this rock are a natural for a B&W conversion. The zig-zagging diagonal lines of the crack really grab my attention.

My own subjective opinion of this image is that it is a little too dark for my taste, and that an increase in luminosity (and contrast) would accentuate the crack even more. I also am slightly confused as a viewer by the inclusion of the red brown plant in color, in an otherwise B&W image. I’m sure the plant is strong enough to stand out very well as the only bit of color, and that it competes for attention with the crack. That is a matter of personal taste.
