And one of the most photogenic in my opinion, though I recall Richard Ditch on NPN 1.0 chiding me over calling a species photogenic or not.

These are a couple of very nice images on one of my favorite species, Allen. I can’t see anything I’d change in either of them.

Very nice. The singing bird is amazing and not easy, at least for me, to capture. The bird on the V shaped branches looks great. I would probably crop in just a touch on the left to cut off that last bit of out of focus lichen. Then a vignette around 5 or so in LR to darken the edges very slightly. Still beautiful as presented. Nice backgrounds on both

Lovely captures! Even a reliable species can be photogenic, as these guys and girls are. Both are very nice!! But I do wonder if the one on top should be put on a diet…

Love these! More partial to the first one. Love the sharp detail on the bird and the mossy perch.

Hi Allen. Fine captures. The first image is my favorite with the bird angled towards us. Fine perch too. Lovely species well presented.

Oh man, the light in that first one is fabulous. Lickable, even. And I love all the lichens on the branches. The V-shape works really well as a frame and an anchor for the portrait setting. Background - check. Catchlight - check. Sharpness - check. Well done!!

Always one of the biggest challenges with moving targets is composition, and you I’ll assume you luckily captured these two exquisite images with enough room for very effective cropping. Awesome work with these!

Nothing more to add! The first image is perfect in every way; background, perch and of course the very cute bird.
