Hi Steve, dynamic pose. I like the head being in front of the wing in rear. Were the greens really brought down in post processing (or maybe just not brought up at all)? Seems that way which is fine - renders an almost abstract look to the surroundings. Interesting composition and feel to the image.

Hello, I appreciate your artistic vision here. I find this photo works best when I stand back from it and avoid looking for details. I really like the greenery the bird is in as it adds so much texture. As well the head is nicely framed by the bird. I find the black stripe at the top distracting as I am left wondering what is there. I hope my comments make sense!

You’ve captured a wonderful moment here, Steve. I get the sense of anticipation of something tasty soon. The wing spread and one wing framing the head also adds to that emotion. Well done.
