Dear Deer

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I had been out in the woods for about 2 hours and didn’t see anything. I was at my car getting ready to leave when a guy drove up and told me he had seen some deer down the road. I walked a little ways and saw 10 deer just off the road in the woods. Before I cropped this shot there were 5 together. You can see the head of one and the legs of another. Shortly after I took this, I took a step on a twig and they all bolted. It was nice while it lasted.

Specific Feedback

any help and thoughts are appreciated. Is the crop to much?
