This was captured along the Denali Highway. With the dramatic sky and mountains with wild flowers along their sides making them quite colorful, one was even snow capped, and the variety and expansive field of wildflowers in the foreground all held together by the winding river, I found this image to be inspirational.

Robert, the contrast between the strong reds of the lowlands and the dramatic clouds is striking. The river does a good job of holding the view together and leading the viewer into the distance. I also like seeing the snow line on the mountain near the center.
Impressive, and the pano crop is the right decision for me. Beautiful image.
The colours are a bit too saturated to my taste, although I know that colour of the vegetation can be strong. For the rest no nits for me.
There is a small spot, probably caused by sensor dust, at the upper edge, above the slope of the right mountain that you might want to remove.
Thank you, Preston. I have been leaning quite a bit lately towards the pano type crop. I think it brings more drama and focus to the landscape. Bob Engle
Hi Robert,
This brings back fond memories from a trip many years ago when I had the good fortune to travel the length of the Denali Highway; although I visited in June not fall like you did. The colors in the tundra are amazing and alive with color and the river does a great job of taking the viewer into this grand landscape. The snow covered mountain is another wonderful element in the scene as is thedrama laden sky. The pano format also works quite well. No suggestions from me.
