About This Image
I just returned from a trip to Denali National Park with a backcountry stay at Camp Denali. The Pretty Rocks Landslide has closed the highway at mile 42, but we flew in, and with the bridge newly finished, we bussed out a week later. It was a fantastic experience, and the photography conditions were generally horrendous. Rain and wind for 3 of the 5 days in the park. When landscapes are not looking great, I turn to ICM, and I made a couple of Double Exposure ICM images of the blueberry bushes on the tundra.
I cannot say enough about the colors in the Alaska range last week. Blueberry fields forever (sorry Beatles) along with dwarf birch and the poplars made this a colorful experience, though so far, looking at my 500 or so images from the trip, I might only have a few worth sharing here.
This is the first. I’ll work my way through with one from each day, and then decide if any others are in the keeper category.
Feedback Requested
Since this is abstract, I’m interested mostly in the visual flow, any thing distracting ( I removed a few dust bunnies), and whether it gives you the feeling of autumn or simply sunshine/warmth, etc.
As always, I’m open to any and all feedback, including, “Enough with the DE ICM already!”
